Pay: $1,500 weekly = $15/hr on W2 $900/weekly per diem

Shift: 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM | 5 Days a Week, 8H Shifts
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our outpatient lab team at Exeter Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient experience and the ability to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and other specimen collection procedures safely and efficiently.
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
- Collect, process, and prepare specimens for transport to the main laboratory or reference labs.
- Enter orders, test codes, and patient information accurately into the system.
- Maintain phlebotomy supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization of the outpatient area.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Provide courteous explanations of procedures to patients.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience with EPIC required.
- Licensure/Certification: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP, NHA, AMT, or equivalent) and BLS-AHA.
- Note: Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be eligible (perm, per diem, or contract).
