What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Bayland Buildings, Inc.?
Bayland Buildings, Inc. is actively seeking a Structural Engineer.
Candidate will be responsible for structural engineering and design of Commercial and Agricultural projects. Will also work closely with sales aiding in estimating projects. Specific building types include buildings constructed of steel, concrete, and wood. Company will train successful candidate in each building-specific software system.
Successful candidate will be well versed in verbal and written communications and fluent with computers, including specific experience with MS office and BlueBeam at a minimum. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit beneficial but not required. Candidate should have great attention to detail and be able to manage workloads that require deadlines.
Candidates should present a Bachelor's in Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
Engineer will report to our VP Engineering Services and work directly with sales, engineering, and fulfillment teams regularly. Duties will include engineering, design and review of fabrication and erection drawings.
