SALARY RANGE: 143,894.40 - 223,038.40 YEARLY

General Summary:

The Lead Advanced Practice Clinical (APC) serves as both a clinical provider and a leadership figure with the Walk-In and Occupational Health Centers. This role balances direct patient care responsibilities with administrative and operational oversight, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered medical care. The Lead APC collaborates with physicians, other clinicians, and clinical leaders to deliver excellent care, promote safety, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and coach for other departmental APCs. 2. Assists with onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of departmental APCs 3. Collaborate with Clinical Division Leader and department leadership to optimize clinical workflows, staffing, appointment utilization, and financial performance. 4. Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement. 5. Provide comprehensive care for walk-in patients and Occupational Health clients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. 6. Perform minor procedures, laceration repair, splinting, and wound care, as appropriate. 7. Conduct pre-employment physicals, DOT exams, return-to-work evaluations and injury care per DE Worker’s Compensation guidelines. 8. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, x-rays, and ECGs. 9. Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans aligned with current best practice guidelines. 10. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). 11. Ensure adherence to all Occupational Health protocols, State and Federal regulations, and Client Company policies. 12. Participate in regular leadership meetings and represent the clinic in interdepartmental and employer/client meetings, as needed. 13. All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.

Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:

• Education: Master Degree ; Nurse Practitioner ; Or: Master's Degree > Physician Assistant (Or Bachelor's Degree if NP/PA was obtained prior to 1995.)
• Credential(s): Nurse Practitioner Registered Nurse Basic Life Support CSR (if required by defined job duties) DEA (if required by defined job duties) Board certified by a recognized National Board. ; Or: Physician Assistant Licensure If NP credentialed: RN licensure Nurse Practitioner board-certified by a recognized National Board. If PA credentialed: PA-C Or: Physician Assistant - Certified
• Experience: Required: Three (3) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to include one year of mentoring or training experience.
  

  Preferred: Urgent care setting experience.
