Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards
- Identify maintenance needs or damages and report them promptly for resolution
- Verify that all cleaning procedures have been completed thoroughly using established checklists
- Ensure proper floor care by inspecting carpets, tiles, and other flooring surfaces for cleanliness and wear
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to address deficiencies and improve overall room quality
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, issues identified, and corrective actions taken
- Assist in training new team members on inspection protocols and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial roles with a focus on quality assurance
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and floor care methods
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify even minor discrepancies or damages
- Excellent communication skills to report findings clearly and effectively
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple inspections within tight schedules
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations is preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
