Surf Town Coffee is coming back better than ever. With our remodel complete, we are gearing up for an exciting 2026 summer season and are looking for fun, energetic, people-loving baristas to join our team February–October, with year-round opportunities available for the right candidates.

About Surf Town Coffee
Located on Newport’s Historic Bayfront, Surf Town Coffee is deeply rooted in coastal culture and community. We roast our coffee in small micro-batches, always choosing quality before quantity. As we grow and expand to other Oregon Coast cities, we will continue to follow these same standards and never sacrifice quality.

You Will Fit in Well If You:
- Enjoy surfing and surf culture (not required, but a big plus)
- If you are not a surfer, we are happy to teach you the lingo and how to connect with our surf-loving guests.
- Are friendly, positive, and put the customer first, even on challenging days
- Are open to coaching and feedback to continually improve your skills
- Can work independently with confidence and collaborate smoothly during busy team shifts
- Do not need every day to look the same
Some days you may be focused on coffee, others on ice cream or shaved ice, but you always show up ready to shine
- Have prior coffee experience (helpful, but not required). We are happy to train the right person
Pay & Details
- $15.05 per hour tips
- Most employees earn an additional $5–$15 per hour in tips during the summer months
- Seasonal position with the opportunity for year-round employment
- Work in one of the most scenic and vibrant locations on the Oregon Coast
