Position Summary
Provides support with the daily activities for occupational health and human resources office operations, including new hire or team member registration, telephone coverage, new appointment scheduling and customer service under the supervision of a supervisor or manager of Occupational Health.
Responsibilities
Greets and welcomes applicants, visitors and team members. Answers telephone calls and call back voicemails.• Schedules appointments according to practice specific scheduling protocols and team member preference.• Obtains accurate and complete team member demographic and insurance information.• Processes all requests for medical records according to Orlando Health and department specific policies and procedures.• Handles the check-in and check-out process for new hires and team members for Occupational Health visits.• Scans medical information and all new hire new paperwork into OnBase.• Asks COVID related questions to team members and provides COVID vaccine status paperwork.• Demonstrates competency in use of office equipment, technology, and answers telephone calls appropriately.• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence standards and actively engages to improve overall patient and team member satisfactionexperience.• Interacts with team members and colleagues in a professional manner.• Performs data entry of Occupational Health information or human resources information into Peoplesoft.• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.Other Related Functions• Participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Indicator activities assigned.• Demonstrates awareness of legal issues, patient rights and compliance with standards of regulatory and accreditin
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent. Six (6) months experience in a clerical office, or general business and or customer service setting. Epic scheduling experience preferred. Excellent customer service experience required.
