Role Title: Lead .NET Developer
Duration: 3 month contract with extensions to 6 months
Preferred Location: New Iberia, LA: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Role Description:
We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to provide technical leadership for enterprise software development initiatives. This individual will lead development efforts, mentor developers, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership experience and a collaborative approach to software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using .NET technologies
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Review code and establish development best practices
- Develop and optimize SQL databases and application performance
- Support application architecture decisions and technical roadmaps
- Drive quality through testing, documentation, and continuous improvement
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining high coding standards
Requirements:
- 7 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise with .NET, C#, and SQL
- Previous experience leading development teams or technical initiatives
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Strong understanding of software architecture and application design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and leadership
