Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to manage the teller operations of the Branch, and ensuring the Branch is meeting company goals in training and customer service standards. Provides superior and quality customer service. Provides customers efficient and accurate transaction processing. Sells the Bank’s products and services. Provides customer referrals for new products and services on a daily basis. Support all daily operations of the branch, including, but not limited to, working rotating Saturday and extended hour shifts.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coaches’ teller team to help grow customer relationships using needs based analysis.
  • Proficient in all features and benefits of bank’s products, programs, and services in order to give customer the best financial advice
  • Answers questions and solves problems for customers by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results to the inquiring party.
  • Meets or Exceeds individual sales goals while supporting sales goal of the branch
  • Ownership and resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • Oversees daily staffing and scheduling to minimize customer wait times and enhance service levels.
  • Facilitates an environment that ensures teamwork within the teller team.
  • Actively participates within the banking team and branch meetings to ensure that bank goals are achieved.
  • Regular and predictable physical attendance required.
  • Supports the management of Manages HR issues including hiring, discipline and termination.
  • Monitor teller outages against performance standards.
  • Performs monthly audits.
  • Will be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash
  • Performs all basic teller functions.
  • Recognize cross-selling opportunities appropriate to customer needs and referring those clients to a customer service representative for follow up.
  • Balance the Branch Cash General Ledger account.
  • May act in CSR support capacity as required.
  • Follows customer service and merchandising protocol.
  • Adheres to and upholds all written policies and procedures of the Bank, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements include but are not limited to
:

  • The minimum required job-related experience needed to demonstrate competence to perform the job is 3 years with emphasis in all areas of branch operations and compliance.
  • 3 years banking experience, with 3 years face to face customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Ability to cross sell bank products.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
  • Basic understanding of debits and credits.
