Talent Acquisition Lead - Pharmaceuticals
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Talent Acquisition Lead, Pharmaceuticals are to:
- Develop a talent acquisition strategy based on current and future business drivers for North America Pharmaceuticals and ensure it is part of the overall integrated talent management approach;
- Understand short and long-term talent priorities of Bayer's Human Resources (HR) organization and ensure recruiters and talent activities execute effectively against these priorities;
- Report directly to the VP of North America Talent this role will lead the development, coaching and management support of direct reports in support of the Bayer Pharmaceutical division;
- Understand the complexity of the North America Pharmaceutical business, including Research and Development, commercial and market access strategy and the ongoing talent needs driven by the continued digitization of this business;
- Partner closely with the senior leadership teams across HR to ensure the Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy and our recruiting activities support Bayer's evolving strategic business efforts;
- Evaluate and enhance the full cycle recruiting process to streamline efficiencies and drive process, timelines, and stakeholder experience;
- Drive operational strategy that leverages Bayer employee recruiters, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), internal Artificial Intelligence tools and contingent labor to meet talent needs of the organization;
- Ensure recruiters partner closely with HR business partners to execute against current requisitions, as well as operate against future talent acquisition needs based on key business drivers;
- Ensure recruiters are leveraging Bayer's Talent Acquisition blueprint to support positive candidate experiences and streamline operational processes;
- Analyze recruiter requisition workloads and re-distribute as needed based on key business priorities;
- Ensure the team has development plans aligned with business priorities, talent strategies and/or career development goals.
- Partner with the Bayer employment branding and marketing leads to ensure TA strategy appropriately reflects Bayer's employment experience philosophy, commitment to l&D strategy, and is connected to appropriate third-party advertising outlets;
- Ensure recruiters and hiring managers working within Bayer's Pharmaceutical division are compliant with government and legal requirements regarding Talent Acquisition;
- Gather, Analyze, and leverage both internal and external data sets to understand competitive market conditions, identify industry trends and leverage talent acquisition best practice to meet business needs;
- Utilize competitive insights, internal and external reporting, and best in class trends to help shape HR strategy and actively engage business partners in support of the talent acquisition value proposition.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required with progressive work experience in human resources or in corporate leadership roles;
- Experience in leading and managing a team, including coaching, and developing talent and providing a clear vision;
- Excellent presentation skills, must be able to conduct and lead effective meetings to all group levels and sizes;
- Ability to thrive in demanding, challenging, and ambiguous environments;
- Demonstrated success in leading a team in a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry;
- Experience in talent acquisition, talent management or integrated talent management;
- Master's degree.
Entirely remote jobs: employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $165,000 (or between $132,000 to $214,000). Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
