Systems Engineer Co-Op

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

• Support systems engineering responsibilities at various phases of product development;
• Work with a team to face challenges that arise during product development, and engineer solutions to meet deadlines;
• Work inboth a desk and laboratory setting to apply a hands-on mindset to solving problems.
  
  

Who You Are

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate program with an emphasis in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field;
• Completion of at least sophomore year;
• Ability to work 40 hours per week May 2026 – August 2026;
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
• Some laboratory experience is highly desirable;
• Coursework in medical device development/regulatory affairs is highly desirable.
  
  

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
