Lead Data Analyst
Climate LLC: Lead Data Analyst for St Louis, MO to coordinate & lead data analytics tasks by defining, prioritizing & setting timelines to deliver agricultural data insights and analytic requests; identify data problems & develop solutions; understand customer pain points & implement ways to improve workflows; serve as technical lead for architectural decisions; build & implement operational models, statistical analyses and business intelligence tools to derive insights from user behavior data and improve business performance; advise global teams on data processes & systems; mentor junior team members on data analysis and visualization. Requires Master’s in C.S., Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or closely-related quantitative field & 3 yrs experience in agricultural, geospatial and/or biotechnology industry(ies): conducting data manipulations and working with complex datasets using SQL, PySpark and/or BigQuery; using version control systems, including Gitlab, to store & distribute codebase with peers; building & deploying CI/CD pipelines to automate, build, test and deploy Conda and/or Poetry packages; conducting advanced exploratory & statistical data analysis to evaluate data trends using data science packages in Python, including Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib and/or Seaborn; developing dashboards & user interfaces to track customer and/or internal model delivery; creating & managing continuous integration and deployment of automated data pipelines to develop datasets for operational model ingestion; working with large & diverse datasets across multiple databases and source APIs; supporting automation tasks using Docker, Airflow and/or similar cloud solutions; designing experiments & applying data quality checks to identify limitations in data; and communicating with technical & non-technical stakeholders, including business and/or academic stakeholders. Will also accept Bachelor’s in said fields & 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s stated experience. Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of St. Louis, MO up to 3 days per week. Up to 5% U.S. travel req’d. Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,000.00 to $135,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
