Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Navigate route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, stocking supplies, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Handle heavy lifting and manual tasks involved in loading, unloading, and moving goods safely.
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route planning is a plus.
- Proven ability to operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle with manual transmission.
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, moving items, and performing manual tasks regularly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification preferred.
