Position Description:
Job Summary
DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City - Riverfront is seeking friendly, dependable Restaurant Servers to join our Riverfront Grille team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional service to both hotel guests and local diners, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This is a fast-paced position with both morning and evening shifts available.
Hours:
- 20-40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Greet guest in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders and answer questions about the menu
- Deliver meals and beverages accurately and promptly
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area and assist with side work as needed
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams members to provide excellent service
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a plus
