What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Coordinator position at BayCare?

This position is full time and includes working every other weekend – 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM.
This position is located at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor.
As an Environmental Services Coordinator team member, you will:
- Coordinate the daily operations of the Environmental Services team
- Observe the quality of Environmental Services team members by conducting weekly inspections of areas of responsibility
- Maintain records of special cleaning, floor and other projects
- Communicate with customers to resolve problems and support team members
- Coordinate Tele tracking to ensure prompt completion of discharge cleaning
- Organize the receiving and storing of supplies to meet service requirements
- Serve as a departmental liaison for all internal and external customers
- In emergencies, perform all aspects of the environmental services positions
Qualifications:
- Required experience is 1 year in a Lead/Supervisor role or 6 months in a BayCare Environmental Services Technician Senior position.
- Required High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Preferred Associate’s Degree
- Preferred certification includes CHEST
