BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.
Position Details:
- Location: Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, Florida

Responsibilities
- Greet, assist and direct patients and hospital visitors.
- Determine visitor eligibility and issues visitor passes.
- Monitor emergency alarms and responds by making emergency announcements using an overhead paging system and two-way radio.
- Notify appropriate personnel/outside agencies (EMS, etc.) of codes and emergencies so immediate action can be taken.
- Perform routine clerical duties such as checking census in computer, completing standard forms, answering phones, accepting deliveries of supplies and flowers, etc.
- When serving as a courier, pick up and deliver hospital mail, specimens, supplies, equipment, other items and personnel among corporate entities, and Regency Center for Women &Infants.
- Modify routine schedule to meet emergency requests as necessary.
- Transport patients between Winter Haven Hospital and Regency Center for Women &Infants via hospital vehicle.
- Relieve staff member serving as receptionist for meal break and as requested.

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Licenses
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) - withing 90 days
- Required: Driver's License

- Preferred: 1 year of customer service
