Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our expanding team at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a busy Level II Trauma Center in Tampa, Florida. This new position supports growing patient volume and trauma call needs, offering the opportunity to work alongside a skilled, collaborative team within a leading, patient-focused health system.
Position Highlights:
- Join a collaborative team of four orthopedic surgeons and four advanced practice providers (APPs)
- St. Joseph’s Hospital is a 555-bed, fully equipped Level II Trauma Center
- Orthopedic Traumatologist on staff for assistance and guidance
- Call schedule of 7 days per month, including one weekend
- Pediatric ER coverage optional
- A supportive clinical environment with access to state-of-the-art technology and comprehensive resources

Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
- Experience in joint arthroplasty and shoulder training is a plus
- Additional subspecialty fellowship training is welcome and encouraged to apply
