BayCare Clinic Corporate Headquarters is looking for a Clinical Epic and Applications Training and Development Specialist to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our staff. The typical hours of this role are Monday-Friday and could vary depending on department scheduling and would typically be from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No Holidays! No Weekends!

We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Job
- Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.
- Is or is working toward becoming credentialed in; and possesses an in-depth understanding of the electronic medical record system (Epic) in order to effectively perform all training activities and support.
- Facilitates classroom-style and one-on-one training for initial and on-going training for business/clinical staff and performs an ongoing role of a resource person.
- Conducts on-line and alternate training via various media and delivery modes.
- Updates and validates training material for new and updated software changes.
- Develops curriculum and provides training for advanced/ad hoc education needed.
- Utilizes a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure effectiveness of training programs.
- Identifies and monitors the developmental needs of staff; coaching and mentoring to improve their knowledge or skills as warranted.
- Administers proficiency audits by reviewing system transactions, current procedures and reports for accuracy.
- Provides post-training evaluation and onsite follow-up to ensure effective training and answer questions that staff may have.
- A minimum of an AAS Degree or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- A clinical background and experience with electronic medical record systems (Epic) is a plus.
- Prior training experience and an understanding of the adult learner is necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Strong understanding of Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems a plus.
- Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
