Position: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Location: Bayboro Pharmacy

702 Main St. Bayboro NC 28515

Store Hours: Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 6:00pm / Sat. 9:00am – 2:00pm / Sun. – CLOSED

CLOSED MOST MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Schedule needed: FULL TIME 30-40 hours per week (some overtime, as necessary)

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or G.E.D.

· Certified Pharmacy Technician

· Previous Experience as Pharmacy Technician

· No criminal convictions (felony or misdemeanor) except for minor traffic violations.

· Must possess basic computing skills and basic math skills

· Customer service experience preferred, but not required.

· Excellent communication skills, both oral & written, and the ability to listen and speak clearly

· Successful applicant must be compassionate and “service-oriented”

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Ability to successfully complete probationary training

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assist pharmacist to process prescriptions efficiently and accurately

· Assist with maintaining pharmacy department by keeping it clean and orderly

· Assist in inventory management processes, including order review, inventory returns, reconciling vendor credits, restocking shelves & physical inventory

· Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and delivery of immunizations, including accurate and detailed note taking

· Package medications in unit of use packaging for patients enrolled in adherence packaging program

· Provide outstanding service to our customers, physicians’ office staff, vendors, etc.

· Cashier responsibilities: Checking out prescriptions and over-the-counter products (balancing cash register at end of day)

· Serve customers via Drive-Thru

· Checking in stock, ensuring correct prices, stocking shelves, cleaning, ensuring correct inventory

· Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

· Answer phones using appropriate phone etiquette
