Weekend Registered Nurse - Home Visits

Valley Health at Home by BAYADA is currently seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse, RN for an opportunity to perform home health visits with adult and senior patients. This office works with clients located throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Please note: current / recent experience in a Medicare Home Health setting with OASIS documentation is required for this position.

As a home health RN, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

• Use strong head-to-toe assessment skills with the ability to identify subtle changes in patient condition
• Utilize your experience with acute and post-acute care (e.g., CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care)
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting
• Perform medication reconciliation, teaching, and safety monitoring
• Perform comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation

• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate concerns
• Comfortable making real-time clinical decisions without immediate on-site support
• Strong problem-solving skills in unpredictable home environments
• Ability to manage a dynamic visit schedule and prioritize urgent visits
• Efficient with point-of-care documentation and technology
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining productivity expectations
• Comfortable providing care in varied home environments
• Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and schedules
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and respect for patient autonomy

• A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Nevada.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units (medical or skilled nursing settings).
