BAYADA’s Special Needs (IDD) Aides work one-on-one in home and community settings as a mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their goals and fullest potential. The more flexible and reliable you are, the more shifts you may be able to work! The majority of our shifts are part-time, dayshifts, Monday through Friday. We value compassion, excellence, and reliability, and are seeking aides who will also be committed to our values.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Special Needs (IDD) Aide:
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
- Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
- Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour )
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours, various shifts)
- Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
