BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Essex County Visits team based in Livingston, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services through home visits within designated territories.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including strength, endurance, coordination, cognition, communication, and activities of daily living (ADLs and IADLs).
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence, safety, and functional outcomes.
- Assess home environments for safety concerns and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment to support independent living.
- Identify and recommend assistive devices and environmental adaptations to improve patient function and quality of life.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote safety and independence.
- Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Accurately document evaluations, interventions, and patient progress using electronic medical records and tablet technology.
Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapy experience.
- Prior home health experience preferred but not required.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation:
$75.00-$80.00 per point ($117,000-$124,800 annual earning potential)
