BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. - Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
- Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
- Competitive pay rates of $18.50 / hour with a weekly pay schedule
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
