BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking DSP / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA’s DSP / Direct Support Professionals work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. - Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour )
- Paid trainings and only a 1-day paid orientation!
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours, various shifts)
- Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
- Mileage reimbursement weekly
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
- Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
