Kids’ Zone Job Description
Proctor Schools' Kids’ Zone Program has openings for Kids’ Zone Aides up to 14 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year. Requirements include experience working with children and possess excellent communication and computer skills and a current Minnesota Criminal Background Check if over the age of 18.
Job Description:
Kids’ Zone Aides - Bay View Elementary
- Assist the site manager with setting goals and program implementation
- Work directly with and supervises students in planned activities
- Help to teach and encourage appropriate social skills
- Assist the site manager in discipline policies and procedures
- Set a good example in attitude, actions, and speech for children
- Maintains an organized and neat environment by cleaning and storing supplies appropriately
- Set up computer, supplies, and activities for children
- Assist the site manager in student safety and well-being
- Promote good parent communication
- Communicates with the site manager about issues regarding parents, students, or other staff
