What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Skating Instructor position at Bay State Skating School?
ICE SKATING INSTRUCTORS & ASSISTANTS WANTED!
Bay State Skating School is looking for Ice Skating Instructors and Assistants to teach Learn to Skate group lessons for children at rinks throughout the Greater Boston area.
Both figure skaters and hockey skaters are encouraged to apply!
Classes are held one hour per week and include two 25-minute group lessons. Instructors may also have opportunities to pick up additional hours by substitute teaching at other classes and locations.
Our skating season runs September through March, making this a great part-time opportunity for skaters who enjoy working with children and want to share their love of skating.
Prior teaching experience is helpful, but a positive attitude, strong skating skills, reliability, and an ability to work well with children are especially important.
