ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Bay State Piping Company, Inc. is a full service utility contractor. Providing exceptional services since 1960. We are currently hiring Laborer’s for our Prefabrication Division.
Laborer - Prefabrication
Responsibilities
· Concrete boring, sanding and painting
· Load and unload equipment and materials
· Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards
· Effectively work within a team environment
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
Education, Skills, Experience Needed
· Ability to understand how mechanical equipment and tools work, and to apply that knowledge in practical situations
· Focus to work safely in close proximity to heavy equipment
· Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
· Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility
Working Environment
- Work sites are both indoor and outdoor in potentially extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, push, pull &/or carry objects up to 50lbs
- Work is performed within and around heavy equipment
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
- Valid driver’s license
- Hold/obtain DOT medical card
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
