What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Attendant position at Bay State Milling Company?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP’S) for the work area.
- Must understand and comply with the company Allergen Policy and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to follow directions both written and verbal.
- Unloading inbound shipments
- Manually lifting bags off pallets from inbound containers
- Stacking product bags on new pallets in the correct way
- Shrink wrap palletized product as necessary
- Truck inspections for obvious visual signs of infestation
- Daily, weekly, monthly sanitation responsibilities of receiving dock area
- Assist with inventory procedures as needed
- Notify the Warehouse Supervisor or Lead Person of all safety, food safety, and quality concerns.
- Perform other duties or tasks as needed
