This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer based in Easthampton, MA. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs, interpreting technical drawings, and setting up machining processes. This role involves collaboration with the production team to ensure precise, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining machining equipment. Adhering to safety and quality standards is an integral aspect of the position.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for complex machining operations
- Experience with Technical Drawing interpretation and understanding design specifications
- Skills in Machining and Milling, including operation and setup of equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in CNC programming or machining are preferred
