What You Will Be Doing To Make a Difference...
- Provide direct support, education, and skill-building to parents and caregivers
- Assist families in identifying goals and developing individualized family support plans
- Support families in navigating systems such as schools, DCF, behavioral health, and community resources
- Facilitate parenting education, groups, and family-based activities
- Model positive parenting strategies and effective communication skills
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in team meetings and supervision
- Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and community partners

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work or related area and experience is required
- Commitment and skills dealing effectively with families utilizing based on strengths based approach
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of community resources and willingness and interest to collaborate with other agencies
- Desire to be part of a growing grass roots program that serves as a living memorial through its mission of child abuse and neglect prevention
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
- Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
