Warehouse Associate
Bay State Books is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. If you enjoy staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping things organized, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Organize and maintain warehouse shelves.
- Restock shelving with books according to inventory lists.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (training available if needed).
- Move pallets and inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Scan books using handheld devices.
- Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and efficient.
- Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse operations.
- Work with the team to improve workflow and productivity.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up every day.
- Physically capable of lifting 30–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving for an entire shift.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Experience operating a forklift or working in a warehouse is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
- Someone looking for a long-term opportunity and interested in growing with the company.
