Human Resources Manager (Hybrid – Boston, MA)
📍 Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic organization in the Boston area. This role will play a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on UKG payroll, HRIS management, and compensation support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process payroll through UKG, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS systems, including maintenance, reporting, and process improvements
- Support and administer compensation programs, including benchmarking, salary adjustments, and reporting
- Partner with leadership and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations and policy interpretation
- Maintain and analyze HR data, generating reports and insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with performance management, onboarding, and other HR initiatives as needed
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve overall HR operations
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to payroll and HRIS
- Strong experience with UKG payroll systems required
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS platforms and reporting tools
- Experience supporting or managing compensation programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
