Bay Property Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Inspector to join our growing team. This is a stable, full-time field position ideal for someone with experience in property management, maintenance, construction, inspections, handyman work, or customer service who enjoys working independently and staying active.

As a Maintenance Inspector, you will visit residential properties, complete inspections, document property conditions, and capture photos that support our business growth. You will work closely with our Director of Business Development and represent our company professionally when visiting homes.

This is a field inspection role — no sales, cold calling, or client acquisition responsibilities.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Inspector is responsible for completing residential property inspections, documenting conditions, and creating detailed reports using mobile technology.

You will travel throughout our service area, typically completing multiple inspections per day in nearby locations, allowing you to efficiently manage your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 7 property inspections per day
• Travel to assigned residential properties
• Pick up keys from the office and access assigned properties
• Perform detailed inspections and identify property conditions
• Capture clear, professional photos using a smartphone
• Upload inspection reports and photos into AppFolio (AF)
• Communicate updates through email and Microsoft Teams
• Provide a professional experience when entering occupied homes
• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• Consistent 8-hour workdays
• Pay: $25.00/hour
• Gas mileage and EZPass toll reimbursement provided while working

Qualifications

Successful candidates should have:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Reliable smartphone (less than 3 years old preferred) capable of taking clear photos
• Previous experience in property management, maintenance, construction, inspections, handyman work, labor, or customer service
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document property conditions accurately
• Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and computer systems
• Ability to manage a daily schedule independently
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work outdoors and travel between properties in various weather conditions
