Bay Power Inc is seeking a results-driven, customer-focused Branch Manager to lead our Fort Worth, Texas operation. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing branch profitability, sales growth, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, employee development, and overall branch performance.
The Branch Manager will lead inside sales, warehouse operations, customer service, project coordination, and territory development while maintaining Bay Power’s commitment to responsiveness, accountability, and technical excellence in the power distribution and electrical equipment industry.
This position requires a strong leader who can drive business growth, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop branch personnel including:
- Inside Sales Representatives
- Warehouse personnel
- Project support staff
- Foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and customer service.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
- Ensure adherence to Bay Power organizational structure and operational standards.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive branch revenue growth and profitability.
- Support Territory Managers and Account Managers in developing customer relationships and expanding market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, contractors, utilities, industrial customers, and OEMs.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Texas market.
- Monitor sales pipeline activity and ensure follow-through on quotes, projects, and customer needs.
- Participate in strategic account planning and branch forecasting.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily branch operations including:
- Inventory management
- Shipping & receiving
- Order fulfillment
- Project coordination
- Customer service performance
- Ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products and services.
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with corporate leadership regarding inventory, purchasing, and logistics.
Financial Management
- Manage branch P&L performance.
- Monitor margins, expenses, labor efficiency, and inventory turns.
- Develop and execute branch growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Review branch KPIs and operational metrics regularly.
- Ensure branch achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally.
- Promote a customer-first culture emphasizing responsiveness and technical support.
- Strengthen Bay Power’s reputation within the Fort Worth and surrounding Texas markets.
QualificationsRequired
- 5 years of leadership or management experience in:
- Electrical distribution
- Industrial sales
- Power systems
- Switchgear or related industries
- Strong background in sales leadership and operations management.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive profitability.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience managing customer relationships and branch operations.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP platforms.
Preferred
- Experience in low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical equipment markets.
- Knowledge of switchgear, breakers, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Prior branch management experience.
- Experience managing P&L responsibility.
