A waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a great dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and seat them if needed
- Present menus and explain food/drink options
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Check on customers during their meal for satisfaction
- Handle customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally
- Process payments (cash, card, POS system)
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Teamwork and positive attitude
- Prior experience preferred (but not required)
Work Environment:
- Standing and walking for long hours
- Busy restaurant/bar setting
- Flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
