The Inventory Control Specialist III ensures continuity of virtual and physical inventory. Inventory transactions are audited, variances are investigated, corrected and documented. Inventory in the warehouse and value streams is maintained according to best practices and Lean methodologies including Kanban and Plan for Every Part (PFEP) management. The Inventory Control Specialist III works with the Value Stream Managers, Supply Chain and Finance in preparation and execution of counting events. Sensaria is a high-volume manufacturing and production environment, and this position will collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, accounting and production teams to efficiently and effectively meet production and customer requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
INVENTORY: 80% of position responsibility
- Leading and coordinating count events including, month end, year end and cycle counts.
- Responsible for proactive investigation, reviewing daily transactions and material transfer logs.
- Initiate Ad Hoc cycle counts and bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Respond to inventory related accounting inquiries, through spot checks or coordinating counting events.
- Maintain inventory documents: count sheets, material disposition request, and transaction logs.
- Provide tactical support for E&O, discontinuation and material disposition.
- Processes inventory transactions and documentation with high degree of accuracy and in a timely fashion.
- Communicating and coordinating with department leads to ensure ongoing material supply as needed.
- Supports continuous process improvement solutions to control inventory flow, minimize shortages, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Own master data input and maintenance.
- Build and disseminate various material status reports.
- Demonstrates proficiency and ongoing learning within ERP system.
- Follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) and/or best practices.
- Promotes and maintains a high level of teamwork and is to share knowledge and train others.
- Physical arranging and organizing of material
- Ensure proper labelling and identification of material, aisle, racks and material staging
- Provide general warehouse support as needed to ensure efficient material flow
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to act independently and exercise judgement
- Proficient in the use of SAP, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn the required functionality of Business Management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through with communication and sense of urgency for deadlines
