JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Coordinator of AccessAbility Services and working with faculty in a number of academic programs including Occupational Therapy, ABA, and Physician's Assistant Programs, etc., the Test Proctor proctors exams for students who are approved for test-taking accommodations on the Longmeadow and East Longmeadow campuses, as well as remotely. This position ensures test integrity and will include monitoring test takers via video or in-person. The Test Proctor is responsible for proctoring and administering exams to groups and individuals while maintaining a quiet atmosphere for testing and following standard testing protocol as required by faculty or staff. This position has variable hours based on the testing needs of programs and students. The ideal candidate for this position will have availability for in-person and remote proctoring during the day as well as evenings. This position may work up to 20 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Proctors and administers standardized tests to groups and individuals.
- Maintains a quiet, secure atmosphere for testing.
- Maintains testing schedules, records, test files.
- Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and security of all test materials, test logs, and other test documents.
- Understands and upholds test procedures; adheres to academic integrity policies and procedures.
- Returns testing materials to appropriate instructors or agencies as required.
- Works with AccessAbility Associate and faculty to have information/materials to proctor exams in a timely manner.
- Assists students who have need of special accommodations, including, but not limited to reading tests, scribing tests, or providing special testing climate.
- Works independently and responsibly in the absence of supervision.
- Reports all communication to AccessAbility Services and/or faculty in a timely manner.
- Attends trainings as required.
- Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Performs any other duties or tasks as assigned by the University.

HYBRID/REMOTE EMPLOYEES:
As with all positions that involve working hybrid/remotely, the University has certain requirements of the employee. It is expected that you will be operating from your primary residence. The University is not responsible for supplying or reimbursing you for the purchase or maintenance of any equipment or supplies needed to complete your work. You will be responsible for all ongoing operating costs including but not limited to telephone service fees, Internet fees, utility costs, homeowner's or renter's insurance and furniture or equipment purchase or rental fees. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing employee owned telecommuting equipment at personal expense and on personal time. The University will supply any necessary software licenses related to this position. Your technology equipment must support Microsoft Office Suite and allow you to access email and other documents related to your duties and responsibilities as assigned by Bay Path University without interruption.
As an employee working remotely, you are responsible for setting aside a space in your home for work and ensuring that it is ergonomically sound, clean, safe, and free of obstructions and hazardous materials. You must ensure that your home complies with all building codes, and health and safety requirements, and that it is free of hazardous materials.
The University reserves the right to change your remote status upon a minimum of a 30-day written notice.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required with an appropriate combination of training, course work and experience.
- Experience administering standardized tests.
- Ability to explicitly follow oral and written instructions.
- Able to detect nuances of improper conduct or misuse of test materials
- Position may include some evening and weekend hours.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in alignment with the Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations
- Valid driver's license.
- Must successfully pass the online safe Driving Course (within 15 days of hire) and driving record check at time of hire and annually thereafter.
- Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and within FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.
- All new employees must complete the FERPA, Anti-Harassment, and any other required online trainings within 15 days of employment.

Salary : $44,000 - $55,700
