As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a driven, results-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our Santa Clara location. This is a commission-based position with unlimited earning potential, rewarding those who excel in generating new business and converting estimates into successful projects.
Job Overview:
As an HVAC Estimator, you will assess and evaluate both residential and commercial HVAC installation and repair needs, providing detailed, accurate estimates for potential projects. Your role will be to generate proposals, work directly with customers, and close sales in order to drive the growth of the business. You will be a key player in our efforts to continue offering top-quality HVAC services to our customers in Greater Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess HVAC needs for residential and commercial customers.
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for HVAC installations, repairs, and system upgrades.
- Meet with customers on-site to discuss their needs, take measurements, and determine the best HVAC solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate scope assessments and feasibility.
- Develop clear and professional proposals, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
- Follow up on estimates to ensure timely responses and work toward closing the sale.
- Build and maintain lasting customer relationships, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and pricing.
- Work towards achieving personal sales goals and team targets to maximize commission earnings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding estimates.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HVAC estimating or sales, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and installations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to create precise and comprehensive proposals.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet commission-based goals.
- Ability to foster strong customer relationships for repeat business.
- Experience with HVAC industry software and pricebooks is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based position, offering uncapped earning potential. Your compensation will directly depend on the number of estimates you convert into successful sales.
