Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Manage daily warehouse operations.
- Manage staff including recruiting, training, onboarding, coaching and discipline.
- Process timesheets and time off requests for personnel.
- Drive process improvement and standardization across all locations.
- Ensure effective and safe use of equipment.
- Ensure all procedures are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure lean processes are followed.
- Safely operate a forklift and train and certify warehouse personnel as needed.
- Conduct safety meetings monthly with warehouse team.
- Produce reports and analyze results.
- Develop performance goals and objectives to ensure accuracy, quality and customer expectations are met.
- Create and maintain training logs and safety check lists .
- Cover responsibilities when associates have scheduled time off.
Qualifications
- A proven, successful track record in distribution center operations management.
- Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
- Warehouse management system expertise, at least two years of experience.
- Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
