What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver/Warehouseperson - 2nd Shift position at Bay Logistics, Inc.?
Location: Spring Lake, MI
Shift:Weekdays 2nd Shift Monday through Thursday (7:00pm-5:30am)
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Are you an experienced forklift operator who takes pride in doing the job right and doing it safely? We're looking for skilled operators to join our warehouse team and keep our operations moving smoothly.
What You'll Do:
- Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload pallets.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and efficient.
- Ensure products are placed correctly and inspected for quality.
- Complete daily Hilo inspections and report any issues.
- Follow food safety standards, company policies, and all warehouse safety procedures.
- Support your team with additional tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 1 year operating a forklift.
- Strength & Stamina: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet in both standard and refrigerated warehouse environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong reading and math skills to match orders accurately.
- Team Player: Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to pitch in wherever needed.
