Bay Line Construction, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice A in Georgetown, DE and surrounding areas.

Job Overview:
As a Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice A, you will be required to safely perform various tasks associated with the construction, maintenance and restoration of electrical systems. Including both overhead and underground facilities.
Typical tasks include:
- Tower Setting
- Working at heights over 100’
- Perform all overhead and underground energized & de-energized work assigned to the crew.
- Set poles and anchors
- Replace poles, cross arms, transformers, and other electrical equipment
- Wire reconductoring
- Operate heavy machinery
- Climb Poles
- Terminations and splicing of overhead and underground equipment
- Supervise the work of Apprentice Lineman.
- Maintain the proper care of assigned Company equipment and tools.
- Assume the responsibility for the crew when the Foreman is not present.
- Observe & assist with enforcement of Company safety rules.
- Perform other duties as directed or required.
- May be required to work extended hours.
- May be required to work in inclement weather.
- May be required to travel to surrounding areas
- May be required to travel for emergency storm support.
Qualifications:
- 4 Years of experience in Energized and De-energized Transmission and Distribution.
- Valid Class A CDL and medical card
- Own your own hand tools
- Proficiency with electrical distribution systems
- Underground distribution experience s preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Transmission Experience is a plus.
- Climbing Lattice and Monopole Structures.
- Hot Sticking Experience is a Plus.
