As a Material Handler, you'll help keep materials and finished products moving safely and efficiently throughout our facility.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Safely load, unload, transport, and stage raw materials and finished products
- Operate forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment
- Keep production supplied with the correct materials to maintain an efficient workflow
- Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documents
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and material movement records
- Complete Bills of Lading, Picking Lists, Packing Slips, and other required documentation
- Perform quality checks to verify product condition, labeling, and documentation
- Complete daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment concerns
- Safely secure loads and follow designated traffic and storage procedures
- Keep aisles, work areas, and storage locations clean and organized
- Work closely with production and shipping teams to help ensure orders are completed and shipped on time
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and takes pride in keeping things moving.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified upon hire
- Ability to accurately read and follow work orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer and inventory-system skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace
