The Communications Manager is a hands-on creative and administrative role responsible for developing, designing, and delivering all internal and external communications for Bay Harbor Yacht Club. This position ensures a consistent and professional brand across all platforms, including print, digital, and on-site materials, while keeping members and staff informed, engaged, and connected. The Communications Manager collaborates closely with department leaders to promote Club events and initiatives, manages website and app content, and supports day-to-day communication needs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and a cohesive member experience.

Job Duties:
- Maintain, update and analyze website weekly/daily to ensure information is timely and accurate
- Maintain and update the Member app weekly/daily to ensure information is current, timely and accurate
- Layout and design Club newsletter, P&A brochures, and all other print materials needed to promote club events, programs and activities and assure printing and distribution meets all deadlines.
- Work with department head to prepare and post all website updates, e-blasts, push emails, surveys and promotions of Club events
- Update Events and other Calendars in all areas and ensure all information is accurate and complete
- Assure Club branding is consistent across all mediums and assure all Club communications follow strict branding guidelines, font styles and legal requirements
- Serve as photographer at various events and activities in all departments, including P&A, and at social activities for use in media and print publications and maintains central archive of graphic files, including photographs, images, logos, and art.
- Develop Power Point presentation and meeting notices annually for Annual Meeting of the Membership
- Proof contents of all Club communications for correct information, pricing, dates, etc, in conjunction with the Director of Membership & Marketing and General Manager.
- Performs other clerical duties (copying, assembling, distributing)
- Prepares and sends mailings to members
- Maintain lobby message board
- Provides information and technical support to members and guests and fulfills members and guest requests (places phone calls, holds packages, etc.)
- Performs projects and duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Communications preferred
- 2-3 years experience in Graphic Design or related field required
- 2-3 years experience in private club industry preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize work activities within project and operations required
- Ability to manage and track multiple budget lines
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
