Responsibilities as the Director of Social Services
Experience as a social worker in a healthcare-related setting.
Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center strongly preferred.
Must know the rules, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing care facilities.
Strong, but comforting, communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
Qualifications for Director of Social Services
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
LSW/CSW licensure required
