Position Summary
My Bay Services is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of residential and commercial maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks. The ideal candidate is experienced in general repairs, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and works efficiently with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial maintenance and repair services.
- Complete handyman repairs including drywall, trim, doors, hardware, flooring, fencing, decks, siding, and exterior repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair common property maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
- Install fixtures, shelving, cabinets, and other building components.
- Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs that are within company policy and local regulations.
- Assist with remodeling and renovation projects.
- Perform pressure washing, exterior maintenance, and property improvement projects.
- Safely operate company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
- Document completed work with photographs and notes.
- Communicate job progress with office staff and customers.
- Identify additional maintenance needs and communicate opportunities to management.
- Ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman services preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general carpentry, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems independently.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools safely.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Carpentry
- Drywall repair
- Flooring installation
- Painting
- Fence repairs
- Deck construction and repairs
- Door and window installation
- Minor plumbing
- Minor electrical
- Pressure washing
- Exterior renovations
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Climb ladders safely.
- Kneel, crouch, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Work in varying weather conditions.
