Crew Leader (Residential Installer)- Description
Residential Crew Leader/Installer would need to possess the technical and organizational skills required to plan and execute installation projects involving windows and doors in residential applications. The crew leader/installer will manage a crew of 2-3 installers, and will be responsible for ensuring that the installation crew has all of the necessary tools, materials, and installation supplies needed to successfully complete each job.
Duties include managing production of the installation crew, along with coaching and training, while making sure that proper installation techniques are used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, local building code, and company policies and procedures. In addition, the crew leader is expected to maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times, while providing and enforcing a safe work environment and safe work practices.
Requirements/Functions
- A valid Florida driver license.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Minimum of 3 years experience installing windows and exterior doors. Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on elevated surfaces, including ladders and scaffolding.
- Ability to perform basic finish carpentry.
- Ability to work 10 hour days
Pay & Benefits:
- Compensation varies depending on experience and production. Potential earnings $30-$50 per hour.
