SALARY RANGE: $20–25/hour

THE OPPORTUNITY
Bay Crane is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across both warehouse and office areas. This role involves general cleaning, restroom maintenance, kitchen upkeep, and support for overall facility cleanliness. The Custodian ensures that employees have a sanitary and well-stocked workspace, contributing to the smooth operation of the site.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Clean warehouse floors, sweep, mop, and perform spot cleaning as needed
- Restock and maintain restrooms (toilets, sinks, paper towels, toilet paper)
- Maintain office spaces, including dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Keep the office kitchen area clean and check refrigerator weekly for expired/leftover food
- Collaborate with the Facility Manager to ensure cleaning priorities are met
- Perform light maintenance and upkeep tasks to support a safe work environment
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and follow company safety protocols
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or irregularities promptly
- Support event setup, breakdown, and rearrangement of workspaces as needed
- Assist with other tasks, special projects, or duties as assigned to support overall facility operations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- No prior cleaning experience required; guidance will be provided on tasks and priorities
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs, bending, carrying, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work a swing shift, with preferred hours 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM; alternative schedule may be coordinated with the Facility Manager
