Job Summary:

The Integrated Human Services Training Professional is responsible for comprehensive training programs focused on crisis & overdose prevention, CPR (BLS & First Aid), and other essential human services skills. This role ensures that staff, community partners, and stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to effectively respond to diverse human service needs, including emergency situations. The integrated Human Services Training Professional will foster collaborative partnerships, and uphold best practices to promote safety, responsiveness, and excellence in service delivery.

This is an exempt position.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Program Development & Implementation: Design, update, and deliver comprehensive training programs on crisis intervention, CPR (BLS & First Aid), and related topics for staff, volunteers, and community partners.

  • Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, supervise, and evaluate a team of trainers and instructors; ensure consistent quality and effectiveness of training sessions.

  • Partnership & Community Engagement: Collaborate with community organizations, health agencies, and emergency services to ensure training aligns with current standards and community needs.

  • Compliance & Certification Management: Maintain all training certifications, ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards, and manage recertification processes.

  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor training outcomes, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance program quality and impact.

  • Resource Management: Oversee training materials, equipment, and supplies; manage budgets related to training programs.

  • Crisis Response Coordination: Assist in developing protocols for crisis intervention and emergency response, ensuring staff are prepared to act effectively in high-pressure situations.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Proficiency in online systems such as  microsoft excel, microsoft workspace and designated Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field or at least 5 years equivalent experience managing in a Human Services training environment

  • Current CPR (BLS & First Aid) certification from an accredited organization

  • Demonstrated experience in crisis  intervention training and emergency response education

  • Proven experience developing and delivering adult training programs

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed

  • Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human services, emergency response, or training coordination

  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, trauma-informed care, and mental health first aid

  • Familiarity with current best practices and legal requirements related to CPR, First Aid, and crisis response

  • Working experience with clients and staff providing & or receiving services in the areas of:

    • Mental & behavioral health

    • Developmental disabilities

    • Addiction and/or substance abuse

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Empathetic: Demonstrates genuine concern for others, with the ability to connect and communicate effectively during sensitive situations.

  • Adaptable: Able to adjust training approaches and strategies based on audience needs and evolving best practices.

  • Leadership-Oriented: Inspires and motivates team members and trainees to achieve high standards of safety and responsiveness.

  • Detail-Oriented: Pays close attention to training content, delivery, and compliance with certification standards.

  • Culturally Competent: Respects diverse backgrounds and incorporates cultural awareness into training programs.

Pay Range: $70,000-$76,500
