Per diem - various 1st and 2nd shifts - $14.73 to start, $16.96 after 6 months
PLUS
$3.00 per hour weekend premium (Saturday & Sunday)
$.85 per hour extra Hazard Pay
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at BCMCF. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with our kitchen staff and nursing team to ensure that all meals are served in a timely and efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work as a team member
- Relate positively to residents and families
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an assisted living facility
- Certification in food service or dietary management
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
- Ensure that all meals meet the dietary needs of our residents
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
- Follow all infection control procedures to ensure the safety of our residents
Skills:
As a Dietary Aide, you will use your skills in patience, following written and oral instructions, working as a team member, infection control, and food service on a daily basis. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in relating positively to residents and families. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
