Job Description:
Bay City Comfort Care, a welcoming and supportive assisted living community, is seeking compassionate and dedicated on-call/casual Caregivers or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with shifts available in 8, 12, or 16-hour options. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about providing excellent care to elderly residents and can work at least 1 shifts per month to ensure continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Provide personal care and support in a respectful and dignified manner
- Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff
- Assist with medication management under the guidance of nursing staff
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Engage with residents to enhance their quality of life
- Ensure all care documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Requirements:
- Must be able to work at least 1 shift per month
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with shifts available in 8, 12, or 16-hour options
- Previous experience in an assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare environment required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
