Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hayward, CA, for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. The role includes overseeing maintenance operations, scheduling and managing routine and preventive maintenance, supervising a team of maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and standards. Responsibilities also involve coordinating with vendors, managing equipment repairs, and overseeing the day-to-day upkeep of buildings and facilities.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills with experience in managing and leading a maintenance team
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality and efficiency
- Knowledge and experience in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance, including handling repairs and operational systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to address emergencies promptly and effectively
- Experience with maintenance management systems is a strong advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in relevant maintenance fields are a plus
