Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, Some weekends and nights may be required.
Reports To: General Manager
Compensation: Base Bonus (based on performance)

Position Summary

Bay City Boiler is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Boiler Systems Sales Representative to support and grow our aftermarket boiler repair, service, and maintenance business. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, evaluating customer needs, preparing technically accurate proposals, and supporting long-term service solutions. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, contractors, and end users
• Identify customer needs related to boiler systems, repairs, upgrades, and annual maintenance programs
• Review written specifications, requests, and field conditions to develop accurate technical proposals and pricing
• Prepare clear, detailed proposals, scopes of work, and submittals for boiler systems, parts, accessories, and related equipment
• Apply customer requirements to Bay City Boiler’s products and service offerings
• Coordinate with internal operations, engineering, and service teams to ensure accurate scope and execution
• Participate in factory and vendor training for products represented
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing systems and support proposal development
• Track opportunities, follow up on proposals, and support the sales process through close
• Maintain organized records and documentation of customer interactions and proposals
• Represent Bay City Boiler professionally and consistently in the field

Some regional travel is expected.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) – Required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience required
• Prior experience with mechanical systems, piping, steam, or boiler-related equipment strongly preferred
• Sales experience in the boiler industry is a major plus

Other Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
